@Donovanmil82294 He was never going to skip a trip to Miami. They may pay $4 million or more. Good QB, but he is Nico Iamaleava on throws over 20 yards the last 2 years. Heupel knows better than me, but I question how well the offense will roll if he’s the trigger man.

I think folks are nuts NOW to be out on him. I keep hearing his ceiling is 7-8 wins. That's his floor. Ceiling so far is 11 wins.

@XtremeEffect @SportsSourceDN Just found my old notes & it was the last block of the 1-31-21 show. Had it in my notes to say: “Probably a bridge due to the mess he’s inheriting. But if he leaves it better than he found it, he’d be the first since Majors to do it.” Liked the hire, not what he had to fix.

@XtremeEffect @SportsSourceDN Wasn't a quick hire, they went after Tony Elliott, then James Franklin, then came Heupel. I don't know who UT fans think they'll hire who be 12-0 every year, but best of luck on finding one. They'd have all cried bloody murder if UT had hired a guy from James Madison!

@SportsSourceTV @SportsSourceDN I can't find the exact episode of Jimmy saying we're still one hire away but I have a friend who's a loyal watcher of your show and he heard the same exact thing because we've often brought it up when discussing Heupel. He was a quick lazy hire
