@sorek_UK @joshpearson180 That's just how slavic languages work. You have a word, a big amount of prefixes and suffixes and you just match by the feel. I once used the Czech equivalent of rozpierdolić (rozšukat) in a conversation and even though it's not used at all, we all instantly knew what I meant
English

Fascinating language, how have they crammed 4 words into 1 ffs

@the_beardedsina veins getting messed up, we have this running in the family and I'm starting to show signs at 20yo.
Btw props do Adidas for the design language on their race shoes

@naudabot @FallenZeraphine @Mathonymics Would there be 3d shadows in 4d space? I thought about that in the past and came to the conclusion that yes. Also, is that a 3d shadow of a rotating hypercube?
English

@FallenZeraphine @Mathonymics That is likely a depiction of the what a tesseract's shadow would be

@miboso You can claim the prompts as art, this though? Undeniably has visual appeal but it's a work of an algorithm you did not design (I'd bet at least) trained on the art of others.
If you can figure out a way to make the latent of the algorithm without training it, you got art imo
English

@ihyomeo That's a canola field. You can belly-flop into it it's so soft. There are also no bugs in there - dry soil and plants engineered to not be eaten so no food source.
I've spent some time in these fields (searching for my model gliders that flew too far) and it ain't bad

@peppercoyote Yo, is the furry thing starting to be "cool" in China? I've been noticing a massive amount of furry content on RedNote for years but never thought much about it
English

I’ll say it again. The biggest furry con will soon be in China, and you’ll have never heard of it.

@666pvzuzu666 @BlueAlienStar @yashalevine Well yeah, that makes sense. As I said, I don't like nor make AI "art", I was just doubting my belief. TY
I've been also thinking about people designing the latent of the AI themselves, without any training data. No one has figured out the process yet but there are people trying
English

@SpyreTheProto @BlueAlienStar @yashalevine I don’t think that’s the only problem with it being “wrong”, though that’s part of it. Even with all ethics accounted for, the “art” would still be based off other people’s actual work with no legitimate transformation or vision. Have fun, but that doesn’t make you an artist.
English

@666pvzuzu666 @BlueAlienStar @yashalevine Ok, I omitted the plagiarism part, you are right, that's stealing and is wrong. Would ai "art" be wrong if it was somehow trained without copyright infringement? I'm not trying to prove a point anymore, I just don't know
English

@SpyreTheProto @BlueAlienStar @yashalevine “understand the algorithm”
“work with it”
You’re describing the process of looking up art to steal and being really specific about it. This level of effort is about as detailed as the effortI took into typing this tweet in, maybe less lol
English

@BlueAlienStar @yashalevine They sure do. By that logic though, a hypothetical "prompt engineer" who would actually understand the algorithm and worked with it to create "art" would be considered an artist no? Something inside makes me disagree but what if AI "art" is really the next thing?
English

@SpyreTheProto @yashalevine That's like saying "Humans aren't violent. Guns are." My point is photographers spend time working on better angle, getting good views, getting backstories, editing photos featured by TECHNOLOGY but MADE by a human.
English

@BlueAlienStar @yashalevine Well, that's exactly what people said about photography - that it can't be art because there is no human input, just a machine that snaps a photo. I'm against AI art, but I think your argument does not work
English

@yashalevine All of those except AI requires love, time, and creativity
English

@ladyaethernaut Why the hell is everyone still using the same image of Floyd? There are many pictures that just look way better, he had a relatively successful rap career and he appeared in a bunch of music videos, surely there is one that represents him better that that one with the brick wall
English

@ProjectLiberal As a person from eastern Europe, I very much agree.
