@Squiddytastic Where others see a negative, I see an opportunity! Reach out and try to (for the lack of a better term) license the vids to be translated & dubbed by this person but in return you get a cut of the revenue for it being your original video. If it doesn't work, strike 'em.

Shoutout to this guy who stole my video... He took my entire script and translated it into Spanish, then added his own b-roll on top of it. There are also snippets and stills cut out directly from my video 🤦🏿‍♂️ He has other vids on his channel that are stolen from other Yugitubers

@DroodHT There’s also a train that goes from vancouver to Toronto, which makes travel easier than inside the us where we would have to take a flight.

Its so funny watching people on twitter try to understand why spotlights are smaller than the 1800 player Toronto one. There had not been a playable open tourney in Canada since before the pandemic, not a single one. Just show up with sleeves and a dream, limited is gas.

I watched some old Magic the Gathering footage the past days. With all due respect, I understand why card games influenced by these Magic guys have problems. This industry does the equivalent of hiring the Command & Conquer guys to playtest balance & design League of Legends.

@forill @thefleeee @Julius07142873 yup. they should not be charging 100$ for entry that is just ridiculous, especially for a game marketed to families. if they entry fee is going up then they should also give out more entry support because it costs them very little to print out some extra promos or playmats

Almost 100€ Register for a EUIC? If they keep grow register cost and tax in Travel Stipend/Award gets worse I recommend to have free Register for players who get Priority/Stipend/Award for IC It just came my mind, but give your option about this idea

@StevenMWC @thefleeee @Julius07142873 yeah but my point is running events is still promoting their brand and driving sales. they lose money from the events but theyre making it back tenfold on product by having events in the first place. theres not really an excuse for the players to be paying more for this

@Squiddytastic @thefleeee @Julius07142873 Between venue space, staff, and transportation costs it wouldn’t surprise me to find out they spend more on running an event than they make back in entry fees, especially without bringing in outside advertising like other esports.
