@GuthmillerJenna This was the exact same for me, and the one time I met with my schools guidance counselor I was told I was 'mountains smart' but not actually smart in the wider world so shouldn't try to go to any big schools.

When picking a college - I really had no idea what was available. All I saw was the $$ and knew there was no way I could afford a private or out of state school. I also just assumed everyone at those colleges were a million times smarter than me, so I never even applied.

After turning in all my lab keys and my Chicago apartment keys, its appropriate the only thing left on my key ring is a Swedish flag from @DoctorAKP. On to the next chapter in July, it has been an amazing ~7 years Chicago.
