Grateful for the opportunity to meet with leaders from Geoje City and our Korean American community. As jobs expand at the shipyard, we also have to think about the health of the people behind that growth. We spoke about the need for equitable health care, and how we must address the disparities that still exist in our system. Because growth should lift everyone—and that includes access to quality care.

Philadelphia gave me my shot to have a better life! As a community, I was able to go to College and become the surgeon that I am today because of this great city! Statistically I wasn’t suppose to make it. My teachers poured into me and gave me the tools I needed to succeed! During Covid we came to together and you all trusted me as a private citizen. I was able to administer the Covid vaccines and help keep us safe! As your Congresswoman, I will step up and fight for the 3rd Congressional District in Washington DC. #stanfordforcongress

South Philadelphia, I was there with you today. Just last week I was at Finnegan's Playground for a community festival — laughing, listening, sharing joy on a beautiful day with incredible neighbors. One week later, I was back. This time because a parking garage being built by Children's Hospital of Philadelphia collapsed, taking a life, leaving two people still in the rubble, and shaking an entire community.
