According to @George_Kurtz, the #CrowdStrike incident is a classic Cross-System Interaction (CSI) failure. CSI failures are on the frontline of system reliability challenges. With the rapid increase of intricate (often opaque) interactions *across* interdependent systems, reliability is much harder to reason about. CSI reliability requires collective analysis of interacting systems beyond individual ones, and techniques of doing that is rather under developed. Time to write the second CSI failure paper @liliatangxy @chaitybhandari @indygupta @anna_karanika @yonglezh @jsy531 @xu_dong_sun
