Gamma count = 1038 = Poor corn emergence. I think we have uncovered another Easter Egg!Gamma counts seem to have a nice correlation to emergence in this cool, wet spring. @SoilOptix

Mapping the Demo Plot areas for Huron Perth Ag Services. In My Opinion, ALL test plot areas for corn hybrids and soybean varieties that are taken to yield should have a High Resolution Soil Map. @SoilOptix #MarkScottFarms

Wheat stand counts are variable but straw will be short, want cover crops in rotation and VRT N with Airinov algorithm is available on wide scale in 2019. @DeveronUAS #Wheat19 #MarkScottFarms

1st SoilOptix project 2019.
Our RTK “fix” is off on this slightly rolling 200 acre field near Lucan.
Need to reset Base station for better accuracy.
The Leafs were here in September. Maybe there is still some weird karma messing up the GPS signal #SoilOptix19 #MarkScottFarms

This new “right” may force farmers to adopt 4R Nutrient Stewardship practices sooner, than later. I believe timing of manure applications when crops are established is optimum BMP. Applying to standing corn with drag hose is going to get a good look in 2019. @4Rnutrients

Kirk VanWill explains - we are seeing a wide variation in yield response to sulphur applied to wheat and corn fields. Soil type plays an important part. This reinforces the need for each farmer to do on-farm trials. We need yield data. @OntarioSoilCrop @TVRSCIA
