I'm 1-2 mined blocks away from reaching @ocean_mining minimum on chain payout amount. I'll use that as an opportunity to analyze costs and post it here. There was much experimentation during this time so it increased the cost compared to what it otherwise would have been.

@FieldNas I considered this but then you will never be able to enable lightning payouts if you want to fully drain your account with Braiins. Will need to gamify it a little bit if you want to fully extract your BTC. Not your keys not your coins etc.

@SteveJReed @w_s_bitcoin You're right to question the virtue, and in fact when the situation came down to it, you actually might find yourself voting Blue. Personally, I just hope I don't give into fear, should it or a similar situation ever arise. I hope I'll be brave enough to pick Blue.

Blocks would have been basically empty for the past 2 years if it wasn't for spam txns on Bitcoin. Would the "Bitcoin is dead/no one is using bitcoin" narrative have been worse for the ecosystem overall if that were the case? I think the answer is yes....and how many more miners would be out of business by now if it weren't for these spam-filled blocks? Can we come to the shocking conclusion that spam good for Bitcoin, at least for the time being??? What do you think? #BIP110

Everyone who has conducted this red/blue button poll has results where about 60% choose the illogical, groupthink choice, blue. My conclusion is that 60% of people will never wake up from the matrix. They will forever be groupthink sheep. This 60% number is consistent with other data I've seen over the years as well, such as about 60% of people are willing to comply with unsafe vaccine mandates...(I'll look for the source, I don't have it handy, but I remember seeing a similar 60% number).

@NEEDcreations Yes. 4MB blocks every 10 minutes will contain more overall data than 500kb blocks every 10 minutes.

@FieldNas @Braiins @ocean_mining Having personally ‘burst mined’ right at the start of oceans recent 60+ hour dry run. It’s gonna take me a while to recover. My timing was very, very bad.

I'm pretty sure it's a myth that you need to meter out your @Braiins hash budget out over time to capture better odds with @ocean_mining hitting blocks. With TIDES payout system you CAN 'burst mine' all your sats inside an hour or two at very high hashrate and then sit idle for days, if you want. Assuming you are long term on this, the law of average will protect you. The ONLY key to profitability or keeping losses low, is the price you pay for hash relative to current difficulty. Fight me.

@LukeDashjr Are the 30% knots nodes accurate? When will BIP110 be enabled as default setting in knots?

It would have been worse to find this out later. But really, only 8% of bitcoiners want Bitcoin to succeed? 😕 Has Core's gaslighting really been that effective?

Recently started renting hash through Datum Gateway on my Knots + BIP110 node .. Aaaannnd Ocean hits one of their longest dry spells! 🤦🏻‍♂️😑 This is sooo my luck 😂😂 .. Oh well, maybe the hash lords will circle back our way .. @LukeDashjr @GrassFedBitcoin
