@Peterk43 To move next season, our ST renewals start in March. I requested a move long before the deadline and was refused even though around 1500 seats remain. These will be given to fans on a waiting list of about 10k which had been open 3 weeks before we were advised to join.

@StevePop78 If you tried to move back to GA this season, surely the club knew of your situation for next season ?

40 YEARS COUNT FOR NOTHING SAFC. I can't believe the way my family have been treated regarding our season tickets, as season ticket holder for last 20-years and hardly missing a home match the last 40-years I have been refused a new season ticket as I want to move from 76 yards to general admission. 2 years ago we moved into the black cats bar as my dad had mobility issues and struggled getting into his seat, we reluctantly agreed to stay when changing to the 76 yards as we new it would be my dad's last season, with help from family/friends we managed to absorb the astonishing price increase from £850 to around £2300. Unfortunately my dad joined the Heaven Branch in February. As we are/we're season ticket holders we presumed we would just move seat next season. When we informed the club we would like to move back to general admission we were told we would have to join the waiting list which had already Been accepting people for 3 weeks. I reached out further to club liason officers and they agreed I had a special case and would review this week's ago, with no reply from latest emails I was loosing hope and have just received a phone call from ticket office to say they have refused my request. After supporting our club through some of the darkest days especially the last 10 years I have now been brushed to one side as they have enough demand to fill the place without my family. Thank you very much SAFC @CWaters_SAF @SunderlandAFC @RedAndWhite2017 @RokerReport @ALS_Fanzine @Phil__Smith @SunderlandEcho @TheDiddyman1 @Capt_Fishpaste @SkySports_Keith @Tweed_Barnesy @BlcSafc @ConnorBromley @mickylough95 @TheWearsiders

@StevePop78 Poppy - firstly, didn't know about your Dad. Sorry to hear that 🫤 Watching the lads feels different enough as it is when you go through such life events - made even worse by this! Quick glance at your history should be enough for the club to be bending over backwards for you.

@StevePop78 I’m having an issue with them and all I keep getting told is can’t do anything season tickets aren’t on sale now all I want to do is actually pay them to change my type of ticket I already have the seat and can go to games but I want to do it in the correct way

@FriendlyWr88468 But you get a free pie. I think this is the issue they are facing everyone wants out of the 76-yards as its very very poor for money. I curse every time I go in but we only done it to get my dad to the match as he didn't get out of the house otherwise. 🤬

@StevePop78 Hi, I’ve been going 53 years and I thought we would treat ourselves to 76 Yards this season. It’s an absolute waste of money! We gave up our seats after the Man City game and refused to pay anything further as the service was so bad. They froze our ability to buy ‘normal’ tickets

@StevePop78 To add onto this - I was told by, I cant move one seat over - UNLESS I pay for another ticket on top of my original ST - SO I said oh I can have both the seats then - OH NO - you lose your original. So they wanted me to pay £1200 for a 690 seat. ST holder for 42 years. Awful

@StevePop78 That's absolutely shit Poppy mate, surely something can be done, it's the downside of the modern game, the clubs don't show the same loyalty the fans do, it's all about money these days

@StevePop78 This has happened to my cousin. Been season ticket holders since Roker Park. Moved to black cats 6 or 7 years ago but moved to founders due to 76 Yards. They have been given a renewal price of £2400ish but their seats are less than £900. Either pay or waiting list was the reply.

@StevePop78 Really feel for you here there are always "special circumstances" that should and need to be considered. Fundamental flaw currently is that if you have been a season ticket holder, then graded to any form of hospitality, you cannot revert to a general ST which is totally unfair.

@StevePop78 Steven, I'm currently fighting various battles with the ticket office/club. I'm on the 'Poor from SAFC' thread as 'Smug in Boots' ... drop me a PM and let's add to the cause.

@StevePop78 Joke that. If you have a current season ticket you should be able to upgrade/downgrade this if there’s availability and before anyone on the waiting list gets a chance. If they’re that desperate for a ST now we’re in the PL then they have the option to go where you were!

@StevePop78 @Eddsyy Anyone who was there for the league 1 days should always come first and that’s a fact us fans who stayed with club when no one else wanted to should be rewarded not binned off because if anything went bad again these fans who come back when we got up will be the first to go again

I’ve had the exact same experience Steven; 38 years as a season ticket holder, last 4 in a corporate seat. Price has doubled during that period. Asked to swap to a normal ST and told same, join waiting list which had already been opened a few weeks. Disgraceful

Totally agree, if fans were moving seats there were obviously spare seats to move into leaving their seats free. I said in my emails I dont expect to be infornt of any existing season ticket holder but as an existing STH surely should be one of the first on list for available seats, but they disagree.

@StevePop78 So for me - if all 38k renewed then they physically don't have space. But that's highly unlikely?
