Perhaps I missed it, as you have a well written (long) post. (….which is needed). I don’t see the explicit callout to replicate from the Synology to any other off-site location. Could be glacier, could be another centralized Synology. If you run VMs from Storage X, and then backup VMs to Storage X….mmmmmmm

@MarkGabbs @vExpert @Synology @VMware No, you didn't miss it. The goal was to provide a walk-through of how to set up Active Backup to backup data from a vCenter. I accepted the default backup destination for simplicity, but for DR purposes, I would follow the 3-2-1 rule and select an external destination.
