There are literally no cases of a romance making a game worse. Romances are simply a way to enhance having faceless companions wandering around and give them an extra dimension characterwise. And typically, they're optional. You might as well blame them turning 3D.

@priestessofdada Um what? Which particular rust rewrites are you talking about? Rewriting from gc languages is always noticeably faster and up to like 10x less memory. Rewriting from c/c++ is unlikely to be faster and no one claims it would be, those rewrites are for other reasons

@angel_kld @bilbosfootcomb I do listen to quite a lot, and there are songs that stayed popular afterwards: Arcade, SNAP, Waterloo etc. Kt’s ridiculous to expect generational bangers every year, but the songs are still great

@StranderSay @bilbosfootcomb And Im not trying to be negative here, I've been watching for as long as I have memories but lets not pretend the overall music is of particular quality, the songs are very very rarely listened to (after the fact) by people who are not active watchers

@StranderSay @bilbosfootcomb Most 10s clips you will find from great songs will sound great cmon. A lot of these songs only become tollerable because you hear them enough over the course of the competition and because they are surrounded by more mediocroty (as far as the ear can hear)
