These are not easy markets to navigate. Last week I stayed bullish for the post Witching bounce, then had to flip back to neutral after noticing a much weaker reaction than I wanted. Then moving into hedges/puts while trimming non long term positions, all in 48 hours. X will say you are flip flopping but being flexible in these markets is keeping my portfolio alive and even in the green while a lot of funds and indexes are red. There's plenty of great and free information on X and I still share plenty of actionable content. Some might just do better in an a less noisy environment where you can have actual group discussions, ask questions, and learn with others in the same position. You are also able to track and follow every single trade with 100% transparency (entry, exit, size). It takes a lot more effort and time to put this all together and results are always going to be dependent on market conditions but as I move away from actively trading myself this is what keeps me in the game and still motivated to post on X.

Most of us have learned over the years that most politician promises are empty promises. I too was most optimistic on the DOGE and fraud discovery.. and wars wrapping up too. If the new fraud initiative headed by Vance is successful and we can wrap up this Iran conflict in a timely manner, sentiment could improve. We'll see how the midterm elections go!

Why are men quitting? Maybe.. We’re at war with Iran, politicians/political insiders are making massive money by placing insane bets 15-30 min before Trump truth social posts, mortgage rates increasing due to all the uncertainty, the Epstein files have disappeared, DOGE failed, the crypto bill sucks, and none of the promised tariff dividends have appeared in mailboxes. I'm pretty sure the recent geopolitical and military moves are going to pay off big time and help us reduce our debt long term. But for now, sure, it looks like we're still very far from being “tired of winning” on debt reduction. The US is at ~121–125% debt-to-GDP now, higher than France (~113%), Canada (~111%), the UK (~101%), and way above Germany (~64%). Only Japan (~237%) and Italy (~135–137%) are deeper in the red among major Western peers. It's not like the US is uniquely bad with our debt. We also still have a ton of fraud to combat (fraud on a massive scale!), which we do need to give this administration credit for stopping (still work in progress). Things are so deeply broken it takes time. There's natural resistance to change. Fraud and corruption are stubborn phenomena.
