@violanorth Demographer here. MN pop will begins to decline by about 2040 if not for in migration from other states or countries. So we have 1 gen or less of growth from the people who already live here.

Within weeks, I think Mississsippi will top US states on per capita covid mortality, leapfrogging Mass., NY, NJ. The states in the northeast experienced profound mortality in 2020 before the vaccine was available. So much mortality so deep into vax's availability, is our shame.
