It is #SundayMorning once again so here's "Sunday Morning, Farringdon Road" by Cecil Osborne from 1929 which is in the collection @BrightonMuseums This was amongst Cecil's first submissions for exhibition &, by all accounts, he doubted his ability!! #CecilOsborne #ELG

@RDodsworth1 @lightlyliz Ah, excellent! @RDodsworth1 Here's "The Mill at Upminster" by Lilian Hawthorn (nee Leahy) from her post-war work. Her husband Elwin also painted & exhibited a piece with the same title in 1934 but, sadly, it is currently "unknown". #ELG
