@STP_Eagles Bad decision to not postpone a week. They didn’t even think about the fact that people who want to come will have no place to park given the sidestreet condition. They just put out some vague statement without any detail on how it’s going to work. Smh

The previous storm is even a slight indication of how long snow is going to stay on sidewalks and road sides the SI St Pats Parade will be a disaster. The sidewalk width to walk on is a snow blower amount at most. The snow piles all taller than kids can see. Where are the barriers going? Did anyone look at the street before deciding?

@AlbaneseNYC @ZohranKMamdani If they didn’t want to be remote, they could easily take away one of the days off given in June, and make that a regular school day or even a remote day, which would count towards the total calendar days required.

The problem @ZohranKMamdani is dealing with is the State rule mandating 180 school days otherwise the City will lose some education funding. He has received a waiver allowing him to close schools today but it won’t happen 2 days in a row. I would have recommended remote for tomorrow
