@CollinRugg In Alabama, pediatric oncology resources lag 20% behind national averages; Will's story underscores the need for equitable care regardless of ZIP code.
The mother of Will Roberts, the 15-year-old Alabama boy who is battling stage 4 bone cancer, shares an update.
Roberts' mother has shared a video of Will having his head shaved, but says his spirit is unshaken.
"There’s something about the second time that hit me different," she shared on Facebook.
"The first time the hair fell out, it felt like shock…like we were just trying to catch our breath and survive the moment. You tell yourself, 'It’s just hair.' You stay strong and push through."
"But this time…it’s the chapter you didn’t want to turn to again because now you know what it means. You know the road and the weight behind it."
"And still…here he is. Same smirk, fire, and unshaken spirit laughing as 'cutting Carl' buzzes away."
"Hair or no hair isn’t what defines him. This is just another page in a story that’s still being written."
"And this chapter….It still belongs to a warrior."
We are praying for you, Will!

Five students jumped into action to help when they noticed something was wrong.
Student Jackson Casnave grabbed the wheel to save his friends.
Sixth grader, Darrius Clark, then hit the brakes.
"The bus started rolling forward. It started like, gaining speed, so when I clicked the brakes, it about threw me out the windshield," he said.
2 other students helped, one of them giving Taylor her medicine.
"I can't thank these students enough for saving everybody's life because it could have turned out so much worse," Taylor said.

NEW: Mother who lost her son and husband in the Titan submarine disaster, says their remains were returned as "slush" in tiny shoeboxes.
Christine Dawood told the Guardian that there was a large pile of mixed slush that they couldn't separate.
She said it took nine months for her to receive her husband's & son's remains.
"We didn’t get the bodies for nine months. Well, when I say bodies, I mean the slush that was left. They came in two small boxes, like shoeboxes," she told the Guardian.
The "slush" was what was able to be recovered from the sea floor through DNA testing.
"They have a big pile they can’t separate, all mixed DNA, and they asked if I wanted some of that, too. But I said no, just what you know is Suleman and Shahzada."
