The erstwhile NPP administration would, in similar circumstances, have resorted to imposing additional taxes on citizens, citing external pressures (the US–Iran conflict). President Mahama is calling for the removal of certain tax components on fuel to ease the burden on Ghanaians. It will be insane to draw any equivalence between the NDC and the NPP. #MahamaThePresident #AbanPapaAba

🗣️ Gary Lineker: "I thought that was slightly odd [Rosenior dropping Fernandez]. I don’t think he said anything particularly bad or detrimental to Chelsea. He basically just said he would like to live in Madrid. [Marc] Cucurella said something similar [about Barcelona] and didn’t get punished at all. Who wouldn’t play for Real Madrid?! I don’t understand the ban. Fine him if you want to punish him and keep it in-house but I don’t see how a ban helps you." ~ @RestIsFootball

The NPP awarded a lot of road construction to MABO WO DIN COMP Ltd., owned by gospel songstress Diana Asamoah. You see why there was a lot of shoddy work in the system.

Big Push Sole-Sourcing: If 88 projects out of over 900, are awarded through sole-sourcing, then I will struggle to appreciate that claim that the Ministry [of Roads] have become a sole-sourcing factory - Godwin Edudzi Tameklo [CEO, National Petroleum Authority] via #Newsfile

Paul Merson disagrees with Enzo's sanction: 🗣️ "As a manager, make sure your best players are on the pitch. For me, he has to play. He's one of Chelsea's best players, and it disappointed being a Chelsea fan, that he will not be playing next week against Man City, and that's only good news for Man City." ~ @SkySports
