@kaorinboom There is something there that they can aim to change that ISNT based solely in social contruction. What are you aiming to change by being trans race that isnt based on social construction? Skin? People of any race come in all different skin tones. Eyes? Nose structure? (2/?)

Male socialization is especially cruel towards boys and men who do not meet its arbitrary standards. Conversely, in the first world, save for reproductive rights in America, girls and women are allowed to just exist. I wanted to escape the original sin of being male.

@Tbpoonest @strid1990723 Gender-based euphoria is just codename for sexual arousal by visual cues & highly context-dependent, romantic / emotional connection to the fantasy of living in the opposite or parallel gender role, for some it may occur as an earlier phase in the development of gender dysphoria.

I’m gonna ride the discourse high and say not all trans men are socialized as female like you’d expect. I had people telling me I had to open doors for women when I was 9 because everyone thought I was a boy.

@Tbpoonest I used to think I didn't really have dysphoria but it was because I didn't know that it "counted" if it wasn't like constant body dysphoria. As if gender incogruence itself was not dysphoria and the concept of euphoria wasn't the alleviation of dysphoria. I feel more dysphoric-

@Tbpoonest i think 95% of the time when they say they “don’t have dysphoria” it’s because they have low/no dysphoria about their genitalia or other natal sex organs, they don’t register dysphoria isn’t constantly “agonizing” and can just be general discomfort.
