They were paying for a logo and the dream attached to it. The price was the same everywhere, but the promise wasn't.

Colorado Rapids just cut ties with their youth club. Hundreds of families paid $3,000+ a year, partly for that MLS academy pipeline. Now those kids become "Colorado Storm." Same coaches, same fields.
