@BartekMoniewski Hmm UE offers a tickbox "Run when paused" in the material Time node. One would have to be careful then to keep the BP compatible (not to forget to modify it!)

@TechArtAid It always boils down to how pause is implemented imho. If you need animated effects during pause then all other should be animated by and update/tick or global value.

@mc_lo Not possible in the sense that time doesn't accumulate? So adjusting the Duration param would compress/expand the flow?

@TechArtAid I did that kind of animation few times in different projects. The only issue with this type of animation is you can't control flow of time. You have yo do weird "timeline latching" to pause and play. And it's not possible to make Duration dynamic.
