I get it but most people don't know how to use LinkedIn. I took LinkedIn seriously this year and I got more than 20 HR reaching out to me and I got a life changing gig which made me $2k+ in 3-4 months. (I didn't have money for upwork connection)

It's not only in Nigeria...I experience the same thing as a Cameroonian...and the worst part here is we deal with french clients too and they are more stressful because you don't know what they want... seriously they focus on metrics you don't understand Like impressions, views.

A lot of Nigerian clients abroad get scared after sizing you up on the first call, until you talk about your international job experience through freelancing and working remotely. Immediately they know they can't chat to you anyhow they want, I had a client say he will pay me more than what I currently earn, I said 7 figures in naira he ran away. 😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣 You want quality? I'm bringing quality.

@TechnicalBben Mahn, it's actually really hard to find someone that aligns with you, as a person and is not looking for “fun". I'm 24, and the average 26, 27 year old man in Nigeria doesn't want a “serious" relationship. And many of them are actually scared of approaching lol.
