IMPORTANT: Another TWIST in TCS Nashik case? For days, reports claimed key accused Nida Khan is on the run. Now this @htTweets report says that she is very much at home and is expecting a baby! And even more importantly, story claims that she isn’t even in the HR team but is a tele-caller there and part of sales team ! Let’s be clear: ALL allegations must be investigated thoroughly, ANYONE found guilty must be firmly dealt with, but surely we need more fact checks and NOT a media trial before reaching a definitive conclusion? Agree?

Finally. Someone said it. Kudos @KanimozhiDMK 👏 She stood up & asked the uncomfortable, necessary questions in Parliament: • What PM/HM say ≠ what’s actually written in the Bill • If you keep talking about 50%, why isn’t it in the law? Words mean nothing without backing • Govt now gets to pick & choose the census, on what basis? • The 2001 constitutional freeze is removed and replaced with nothing • Who controls the Delimitation Commission? Who appoints them? Why is it beyond judicial review? • Is this effectively punishing Southern states for controlling population? • And what’s the point of debate after the Bill is already notified? Super glad that someone finally represented the South with clarity & spine! 👏

Nashik has been tense since the news of alleged sexual and religious harassment in a TCS BPO broke. I ran into the family of a 26-year-old woman named an accused in 1 of 9 FIRs in the case. They said she is not on the run at all. Read in @htTweets today. hindustantimes.com/cities/mumbai-…

Lebanon was living in peace and tranquility in 1975, and then came the Palestinians.

Rajdeep's Take on Women's Reservation Bill & Delimitation Debate If the Modi government is truly serious about women’s empowerment and women’s reservation, why not simply stick to the original 2010 bill — a legislation that was already passed in the Rajya Sabha? There are 543 seats; go ahead and reserve one‑third of them for women- @sardesairajdeep #NewsToday
