Video games are a male hobby, the difference is men are fine with you being in their hobby as long as you're not annoying. It's sort of like how make up is a predominantly female hobby/industry.
Men aren't bitching that you guys also get 75% market share of every clothing store either, cause we get it. Women buy more clothes than men it makes sense. Just like how men buy more video games than women do.

If you are sharing a bed, sharing bodily fluids, and planning to build a whole life and raise children with someone, the idea that your phone is a "highly classified, impenetrable vault of extreme privacy" is a massive red flag.
