Today is my bday so let me give you a different way to think about birthdays: Going off on your own to a remote destination. No friends or family. Just you. Having space to think, recharge, and do what you want to do. No distractions, just peace and quiet. Could be for a day, could be for a week. Hell, could be for a month. Contrast that with having to plan for a party, drinking late into the early morning, eating junk food, and losing half of the next day.

If I’m stuck, asking myself: “What would someone 10x smarter than me do?” Has worked more times than I can count. Just like giving chat gpt the right prompts increases it’s utility, so does asking ourselves better questions.
