I love Ireland. I love being Irish. I’ve always said I’d never want to leave. But what’s the point in staying? Live at home until you’re 40, or spend your life paying rent to a vulture fund? The people running this country have left nothing for anyone trying to build a life.

@paddyjogorman I’ve never heard of it happening once. Yet I’ve heard from multiple women about men making them uncomfortable in bathrooms, changing rooms and shelters.

@TheAkoFiles And this is bullshit about trans-ID men getting beaten up in men’s toilets. I don’t care if a man in a dress pees next to me. And if I want to beat one up, I’m not going to hang around in a men’s toilet all day waiting for one to come in.

So because the mens bathroom is dangerous, we should let men enter the women’s bathroom? Fascinating logic.

@TheAkoFiles Come live in Liverpool. Sure it's practically East Ireland anyway! And cheaper! 35 mins flight time from Dublin on a Ryanair. You can still buy a two bedroom terraced house here for less than £100k. Rents are getting very expensive though.

I don’t think I can take another 3 years of this… I really don’t. They say “Look back, but not for long”. But it’s so hard when you’ve experienced how things CAN be… not perfect… but just real. Nostalgia is now a physical pain…
