I am deeply moved by those who have stepped up like @awsalebadi . We never sought this support, but we are profoundly grateful for it. To be clear—this is not about seeking validation or rallying backing. I am speaking out because what happened to my husband is unacceptable in any just and civil society. Some would have you believe that speaking your mind invites retribution—that if you voice your opinion, they have the right to target your children, as they did with JD Vance, or your loved one's livelihood, as they did with my husband. That is a lie designed to silence. I refuse to be silent (yes, ironic). I speak up because it matters, because I want to set the example. I will not back down. This is about dignity.
