Kendal “KD” White was sentenced to 20 years in prison, and Cam’Ron Henderson was sentenced to 130 months in prison. Both men previously pleaded guilty to one count of kidnapping. #BREAKING Four more alleged members of the Homietos outlaw motorcycle gang have been arrested, bringing the total number of arrests to 17. All are charged with a superseding indictment in connection with a racketeering conspiracy involving numerous violent crimes, including several Houston-area murders. Arrested today are ▪️Romeo Jose Ferrer aka Primo of Kingsville; ▪️Mark Anthony Magallan aka Loco of Houston; ▪️Ralph Eugene Kellum aka REK, of Vidor; ▪️and Bryce Cook aka Cowboy of Angleton. FBI Houston, @TxDPSSoutheast, the Texas Board of Criminal Justice, U.S. Marshals, and other law enforcement partners worked on this investigation.

The Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list is a critical tool in the FBI’s efforts to bring dangerous fugitives to justice. It also underscores the power of public awareness in the pursuit of the nation’s most elusive and violent offenders. Since its inception, 540 fugitives have appeared on the list and 501 have been apprehended or located—many due to tips from citizens. Kalpeshkumar Rasikbhai Patel, also known as Kenny Patel, is #wanted by the #FBI for his alleged participation in a nationwide scheme to defraud multiple victims into transmitting large sums of money, usually in the form of cash and prepaid debit cards, to addresses throughout the United States between 2017 and 2021. Case Update from @FBIHouston: A former correctional officer has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for trafficking methamphetamine. Martel Devante Gilliam pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. Gilliam was a correctional officer at the Federal Correctional Complex in Beaumont, Texas, where he was identified as a source of supply for illegal drugs at the prison. CASE UPDATE from @FBIDenver: Carie Hallford of Colorado Springs was sentenced to 216 months in federal prison, three years of supervised release, and $1,070,413.74 in restitution after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud. Hallford, who owned and operated Return to Nature Funeral Home in Colorado Springs and Penrose with her then husband and codefendant, Jon Hallford, mishandled at least 190 bodies over four years and defrauded the Small Business Administration through fraudulent COVID-19 loan applications. When it comes to #cyber resilience, backups are your safety net – but only if they can’t be tampered with. The FBI recommends following the “3-2-1 rule”: keep at least three copies of critical data on two different media types, making sure that one copy is offline and immutable (can’t be changed or deleted). This helps protect you from attackers trying to destroy or encrypt your data during a breach. Ransomware attackers often target backups early, so protect them like any critical asset. Secure backup platforms with strong authentication and separate admin accounts, limiting access to trusted devices. Plan ahead and know what you’ll need to restore—e.g., systems, configurations, and user access—and test restorations regularly. Backups lose their value if you can’t restore systems promptly when it matters most. #FBI advisories have revealed that if your backups are poorly protected, ransomware actors will find and destroy them before encrypting your data. They even exploit vulnerable backup solutions for initial access and move quickly to delete built-in recovery options like shadow copies, making restoration harder. Don’t give attackers the leverage they seek. Resilience depends on isolated backups and tested recovery—one of Operation Winter SHIELD’s 10 Key Cyber Defenses. Trung Duc Lu has been added to the #FBI Ten Most Wanted Fugitives List. He is #wanted in connection with the torture, kidnapping, and murder of two Vietnamese brothers in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in August 2014. A third man was also tortured and kidnapped but managed to survive the attack. The FBI is offering a reward of up to $1,000,000 for information leading directly to his arrest. CASE UPDATE: Columbia Woman Who Coerced Minor Boy to Engage in Sex Sentenced to 20 Years in Federal Prison According to court documents and statements made in court, Alyson Cranick, 44, first using text messaging and Snapchat, and then using the internet chat service Discord, coerced an 11-year-old boy to engage in sexually explicit conduct with her. Several times during the summer and into the fall of 2022, Cranick induced the minor victim to leave his house after midnight to meet up with her.
