I dream of the Sharks winning Super Rugby, Proteas winning the World Cup, Louis winning his second major, and the Bokke to keep doing what they do.

A Pro Golf Tour…for Content Creators? Are you interested in this? Is this doomed to fail? The big news in the social media world is Grant Horvat and the Bryan Bros forming a golf tour for social media influencers. Before you write it off, keep in mind these guys have MILLIONS of followers. Generate millions of views. Have more fans than your average PGA Tour player. The winner will get a million bucks. I’m not saying it’s a success yet. But imagine if ten years ago I told you that people would watch normal great players golf. Just dudes. For thousands of hours. And that these dudes would make more than many PGA Tour players. You never would have believed it.
Your Golf Tour@YourGolfTourYGT

Welcome to the Tour.

@adst0403 I’m not complaining or being bitter. I’m calling a spade a spade. They’re making the same content and wrapping it up as something new. Just pointing that out. 🙂👍

Just to be clear then, the same people will film golf content with the same people they always film with, call it something different, but it will be the same, but different? 🫠

🚨⛳️🏌️#NEW — Grant Horvat has teamed up with Wesley & George Bryan to create Your Golf Tour: “A multi year Tour designed for high level competition in the digital landscape.” YGT will feature 16 of the top golf creators in 4 events, with rumours of Michael Block, Garrett Clark and Mac Boucher as potential names on the yet to be announced roster. @SaffaStrachan So good. Even in Adelaide support was very Aus heavy (jeers towards to other teams). Long overdue celebration of golf is exactly what this 🙌 on a side note, I never thought the LIV team aspect would catch on - I'm properly invested now.

In most team events like the Ryder Cup, support is polarirising. But in #LIVGolfSouthAfrica Bryson, Rahm, Southern Guards - everyone gets a cheer. It's a celebration of quality golf on the African continent.

Why are we so intent on saying something or someone is the best ever? Can't we just enjoy the brilliance, the moment and the fact that we were entertained? The "best ever" Six Nations, the "GOAT" It is all so tiresome and we trip over ourselves to try and post that post. When all we should say is we were entertained. A great game played by great players that wouldn't give up. Next week there may be another, or next month or next year. But does it matter? For me, watched a lot of rugby and a lot of players in my time. I can't stand these constant calls to say something is the best ever. I love the sport, appreciate the games, and applaud great rugby. The Six Nations was great, so was the Rugby Champs. They don't have to compete. Same with players. We can appreciate PSDT, Dupont, Bielle-Biarrey, Itoje, Doris, Savea, Sacha, etc. We can enjoy their brilliance in a team sport. And we can be satisfied without saying it/they are the best ever.

@FanaticBears @rugby_ap Yeah Schalk actually was complimentary of him and the impact he has. His point was actually just that he couldn't relate to the new Gen.

@rugby_ap Exactly, not seen anyone demanding that the 2007 SA backrowers do actually hit the gym and train for year to take him on. People have seen 1 line and jumped on it. Can’t imagine Pollock cares 1 bit.

So much pearl clutching about Schalk joking that Pollock is a TikTok dancer. “The sport needs characters [but you’re not allowed to not like them]!”

@dmurray59 @FloRugby This was only a snippet from his full take on Pollock. He said he's a great player, has a massive impact. But he said it's a different generation, something he can't relate to. Watch the full clip for full context, is actually quite a humorous comment in it's totality.

Is there any other player with as remarkable record of injuries for club games but fit for international games as Pieter-Steph du Toit? Over last two and a bit years he has played 27 Springbok games but only 10 for Toyota. Only played 19 games his last 3 seasons at Stormers too.

Saracens’ social media this season has been exceptional. Leaning in to being the bad guys whilst also tethering it to a wider (very slick) brand repositioning. Whoever’s doing the marketing - well done.

@ChalynRugby I was in Durban in 09 for that Morne game. The stadium started signing "Morne Morne Morne Morne" (like Ole Ole) - so why this is a big deal is he was a Bulls player, playing in Durban, and Bulls were enemy no. 1 in Durban ever since the 07 Super Rugby final. So for him to get...

#Opinion Stats aside, Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu’s display against Argentina in 2025 wasn’t the greatest individual performance by a Springbok 10. That honour still belongs to Morne Steyn. Sacha was outstanding last night, but I’ve seen many calling it the greatest ever performance by a Springbok 10. People forget quickly. In 2009 Morne Steyn single-handedly beat the All Blacks, scoring all 31 points. That win marked the first time South Africa had beaten New Zealand on consecutive weekends since 1976. That should go down as one of the greatest performances ever, in any position. Many have done it in blowouts like last night, but only a few have managed it in a tight game. The most points by a Springbok and as a percentage of the total score. 37- Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu Vs Argentina , Kings Park Stadium, Durban (55.2%) 35- Percy Montgomery. Vs Namibia, Newlands Stadium, Cape Town (33.3%) 34- Jannie de Beer vs England, Stade de France, Saint-Denis (77.4%) 31 - Percy Montgomery vs Wales, Loftus Versfeld Stadium, Pretoria (32%) 31 - Handré Pollard vs Argentina, Estadio Padre Ernesto Martearena, Salta (72.1%) 31 -Morné Steyn vs New Zealand, Kings Park Stadium, Durban (100%) #Springboks #LosPumas #RSAvARG #Rugby 🇿🇦🇦🇷
