FOUGHT TOGETHER. DePaul wins three-straight BIG EAST road games for the first time ever ‼️

Soldier Field carries $500M+ in debt. It's paid by hotel taxes and when those fall short, it comes out of income taxes. JB’s family Hyatt got a $150M tax break. That's $150M less covering debt. You get the property AND the income tax bill. And the Bears leave for Indiana. 🙃

.@GovPritzker just proposed the most expensive budget in Illinois history: A record-breaking $56 bilion. And, as usual, there is a catch. It relies on nearly $600 million in new tax and fee hikes, plus extremely risky gimmicks, including overly optimistic revenue projections and fund transfers. Here is what's in the fine print of Pritzker's FY2027 budget proposal: 🚩$200M in new "social media fees" 🚩$139M in fund "sweeps" (which put backdoor pressure on your local property taxes) 🚩$269M in corporate tax hikes 🚩$120M in casino tax hikes Illinoisans already pay the highest state and local tax burden in the U.S. Relying on $1 billion in "updated revenue assumptions" to balance the books is a massive gamble. When rosy revenue projections fall short, who usually ends up footing the bill? The taxpayers. We've seen this movie before. illinoispolicy.org/pritzker-propo…

The Chicago Bears leaving for Indiana is an indelible stain on Chicago’s city and state leadership. Great city filled with fantastic people run by total morons.

The not-Chicago Bears? Today the Bears released a statement saying how excited they were for their “vision” of a taxpayer-funded stadium in Hammond, INDIANA. Umm…nope. If you can’t afford to keep the team in Chicago, sell it. Period.

This is JB Pritzker’s fault Complete incompetence if he lets the Bears leave I’m very curious exactly WHY Indiana can do this and Illinois won’t

Here we go again, the Bears are just asking for money to be used on infrastructure (roadways, sewers, metra line) and a tax certainty. The team has said countless times that they would pay for the stadium themselves. Before anyone mentions anything about Indiana giving the Bears public money for the stadium, that was what Indiana offered. The Bears would have been dumb to say not to that offer, unless Illinois gives one last push.

Can we just drop off JB Pritzker in Indiana instead and ditch him?
