I understand the premise of the joke you’re making, I agree with 90% of what you say.
But you don’t joke about a potential enemy of war inviting missile attacks on home soil.
That would inevitably kill British civilians and cause the death of more British soldiers.
The reality of war is far removed from most of the population of this country. Especially women.
However ask your parents generation who were much more in tune with the reality of war in England.
It’s nothing to joke about, inviting enemies to attack home soil, even Bradford.
