@maxwelltani I just heard I’m one of those they had to say goodbye to. A new, later-life chapter begins. I welcome it, though it’s going to suck for awhile.

In a note to staff, Bloomberg EIC John Micklethwait announced a major newsroom reorg/cuts, merging credit/finance groups, legal/financial reg groups. "We have sadly had to say goodbye to some colleagues," but Bloomberg will "end this year with a bigger newsroom than we started it."

Just hit that point on the doors when I began to wonder if everyone’s either voted or not home when I knocked on the door of a voter who didn’t realize she had to vote before work or she’d miss it. Registered two weeks ago. Just cast her first ever ballot, for Harris. Lfg.
