I was trading with a bot that was run off a script and a couple other people were trading with the same bot. None of us were hedging, but the bot was taking all the same trades. In the rules automated Trading is allowed, bots and algo trading is allowed, but apparently if multiple people are running the same strategy at the same time and same algo all of the sudden we are trying to gameify the system… which I wasn’t. I literally was just running automation. No hedging whatsoever. I wish @AskTopstep and @MichaelPatak would have at least allowed to to discuss my end of the story but they instead just said I was hedging (one day I got flagged for accidentally going short on an eval while the bot was long on another account, completely not intentional and legit accident) Then after month of asking support about the hedging issue, they just hit me with a full ban. I’m only upset and made this a big deal because of how this was handled. No communication, just leaving me in the dark then rug pulling my 30k plus of profits I had in XFAs.

@TheStrongTrader Sounds like they suspect you are hedging in a discord group where some of you go long and others fo short, and you share the profits.

Updated: Topstep decided to fully BAN ME and never provided any evidence of hedging. 2 full months of no answers from support to just finally rug me. Incredible how the goat of the industry goes south. I had 4XFAs with about 40k total sitting. Gone. What a terrible customer experience. Is it what it is. But posting for awareness. Smh

One thing from my foundation of learning back when I ONLY traded options was the concept of stocks in play. Even tho I do the whole prop firm game for day to day income trading, the in play names provide amazing opportunity, especially when you can find a good chart. I don’t see anyone talking about this name, but $LITE came up on a simple gap scanner yesterday and it’s clearly strong asf. Options not bad on it either. Nice nearly 100% gain on this play using some weekly options

This firm keeps getting some Dumbass excuses to throw at me LOL Ultimate failure of a Firm... @Topstep Emails me today and states that " Copy Trading in concert with other traders" is against their terms of use... First it was Hedging a "Combine with a XFA" Now they do this because they couldn't claim that IF @MichaelPatak Can verify that I quote on quote used another account under the same IP address and copy traded across multiple users on the same exact trades I took. I will write this idiot a check of $50,000. This firm is ini @MichaelPatak hands and he has absoutely shitted on it. As one of the top streamers the only reason I used @Topstep was for the @ProjectX now that @tradesea is gaining traction BRO fuck that dookie ass firm....

@MichaelPatak going on 8 weeks now with no resolution from support. Telling me everytime they will have a resolution in 2-3 business days. Please can you get this ticket escalated

Nearly a month now. @Topstep Claiming I was “hedging” with a combine. 4 total XFAs I’m sitting with in my dash All XFAs all locked up. Can’t trade them. Only 1 XFA was apparently the hedge one. They said I will lose access to that account, but likely get a fresh one. Other 3 weren’t involved in the situation. I ask to send me the trades showing how I was hedging. They ignore that and can’t prove it. 3 weeks ago I get an email saying end of the week I will have clarity. End of that week comes. Nothing. I reach out to support. They tell me they are gonna escalate it. Another week goes by. Same email below except saying end of next week this time I will have solution. Another week goes by nothing. I finally post on here and @AskTopstep tells me they will escalate. A support manager finally responds and tells me 1-2 business days and I will have a solution. 3 days have passed, nothing. @AskTopstep tells me to just wait. WHY even tell me a timeline? Just pushing this out and out. No clarity, no explanation. No PROOF I was hedging. Again this is all over an accusation of hedging a combine account. Incredibly poor customer service. I have the least “threat” of this faulty offense, and instead of just fixing this, you lie to buy time, and just run me in circles.

6 weeks. @MichaelPatak can you please have support actually give me support on this? This is incredible how long this is taking to resolve this apparent hedging with a combine that was a clear accident.

Like it’s not as if I ever make some amazing trade or insight while worrying about trading after 5pm or when I’m at dinner with friends haha.

One talk that resonated with me this year was from Dr. Tom Crawford’s concept of “crossing the bridge” after a tough day at work and the importance of truly disconnecting when the trading day ends. I need to get better at that. I also loved hearing @lx21 crush it navigating the panel on alt investments. And seeing Gregg commit to donating a whole school 🤣 It was awesome to witness past attendees experience huge growth like @Jeppez420 to then become a speaker, welcoming back legends like @Tradestl and @theshortbear, and of course seeing @CenterPointSec @ClearStreetLLC still investing in this mission. Wild to think back on how I met Scott Herman and Matt Marino at my first T4AC conference in 2019 and that relationship became a key part of my own journey. Not only having Scott, Matt, Ryan, Royce, Amanda and others become some of my best friends, but they became my paid partner and broker of choice as I work to bring top-tier education to more traders. So grateful for this community and everything it stands for. Special thanks to @zkschell for making this event what it is.
