@iGerLynch We were disappointingly without any edge for at least 80 minutes. Nmecha and DCL seemed to have no sense of connection. James injected pace but his crossing was poor. I'm glad of the point but wanted two more.

@MDMDmydecision Just think: if MPs had actually read the Bill and understood how dangerously it lacks safeguards, how contrary to opinion and guidance from Royal Colleges it is and how it scares expert representative bodies, it wouldn't even be in the Lords to have any time spent on it.

Baroness Berridge has spent 7 minutes raising concerns about children acting as interpreters. The Bill already requires doctors to provide adjustments for language and literacy barriers, including interpreters. We don't have time for arguments over safeguards already in the Bill.

@AnonInclusive @ripx4nutmeg That's a brave mention of the 80s. You mean the time during which Magpie was published and various Labour members gave support to the infamous PIE?

Woman's Hour on BBC Radio 4 has discussed 'toxic masculinity' against the backdrop of Louis Theroux's Netflix documentary Manosphere with ... a cross-dressing man who talked about the 'misogyny' he experiences

@DrHoenderkamp In such cases there's an argument for just throwing him in to prison in the mix with all the others and making sure they know what he's done. The outcome wouldn't be nice but there'd be a sense of natural justice about it that few people would ultimately disagree with.

That thing that never happens and this is the vilest kind of male predator who said he was a woman to access children. And there were signs; * voyeuristic photos of 12-18 year old girls * matrubating outside a youth hostel * convincing families with children that he was a nice woman to gain access And now he is accused of raping a baby........ a baby. reduxx.info/transgender-yo…

@DrHoenderkamp Does anyone have the email address for me to send in my contact details for him? He says that he's going to find me - I can save him the trouble. He's welcome to visit me and share a pot of coffee and have an honest, objective, fact-based, non-shouty conversation.

Another violent and aggressive male threatens women who won't believe in his delusion because they don't believe men can actually become women. But it isn't misogyny, its just women in need of re-education.
Janet Murray@jan_murray

‘Hey transphobe’ (assuming that means anyone who thinks men can’t be women). ‘What you’re doing is wrong and we’re going to find you. We’re going to find you ok?’ No male aggression there at all 🙄

@Christianitymag @LoisMcLatch Why have you got a photo and references to Mullally? She's already said that going on a walk this week is more important than upholding a Christian position on the sanctity of life - she won't be in the House for the vote.

@GasBuddyGuy $5 per gallon, wow, I wish we had that! On the drive in to work this morning, I passed a fuel station selling at £1.63/litre, equivalent to around $8.20/gallon

I believe it's no longer a question of IF but WHEN the national average price for diesel reaches $5 per gallon... thinking the next few days it'll happen. $4.83/gal right now.

@johnleechmcr @jk_rowling @RosieDuffield1 My point your use of the word "horrifying". Our West Didsbury neighbour, Glenn Mullen, made murderous threats. You said nothing. Today, people supporting the biologically enshrined uniqueness of womanhood got into a scuffle when Hannah's entourage took umbrage. "Horrifying"?

There's an argument for throwing in together all those convicted of the most heinous crimes. Nasty murderers might then pick off their peers whose crimes were against women and children. It's distasteful but peculiarly compelling. Soham might support it. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

@_ConnieShaw There's a precedent setting problem here if people wishing to project strong opinions (of any sort) and a sense of their presumed authority see this, start turning up on horses and the already stuck in the middle police officers then struggle even more to maintain public order.

“With the greatest respect what do you want me to do, pull him off a horse?” Says the police officer when people ask why these chaps aren’t being arrested for chasing people on horses in the City of a Manchester. What’s the point

@DrHoenderkamp @EmilyThornberry @UKLabour No real man will stand by while other men enter spaces where their wives/daughters are using the toilet, getting changed, receiving female medical care or otherwise vulnerable. Risk of arrest is a small price to protect our women and girls. @UKLabour will lose votes.

@angeloinchina This is horrific. Many clearly detailed and widely accepted clauses in international law prohibit the siting of munitions, firing machinery, command posts and similar in schools, hospitals and places of worship. These deaths show IRGC disregard for their own people and for law.

This is populist stuff and nonsense. If Dubai tax exiles return to reside in the UK then they will automatically start paying tax again. If they ask for British protection in Dubai then by all means charge them. But what exactly does your protection amount to? We have no troops, no navy, basically no military resources in the Gulf or in Dubai, bar a few fighter jets in Qatar (providing no protection to Dubai). It is the UAE that is protecting them. Quite well, so far, despite the scale of the unprovoked Iranian attacks.
Politics UK@PolitlcsUK

🚨 WATCH: Ed Davey says British tax exiles in Dubai should now be made to pay tax in the UK "As we protect them, it's only right for tax exiles to start paying taxes to fund our Armed Forces just like the rest of us do"
