Found and translated the 1998 Square Maniacs magazine CD with a full tour of the Square USA office in Los Angeles during #ParasiteEve development. Storyboards on the walls, monster animations done by hand and a young director @Takashi_Tokita. Must be some wonderful memories. #パラサイトイヴ

@ombre3 It was fun to watch even if it was expected to be a very one sided victory. RedEye is still very new to how PS2 era ACs move at a high level, since it is very different compared to PS1. Also, I've been trying to spark Reverse Delta, but this motherfucker refuses to learn it!!

@Cacophanus Yeah back then the in person tournaments in NA really only restricted H+/OPI afaik, but I wasn't around for them and came in during NB/LR xlink kai days. I believe SL tourneys restricted MG800 and shields, but it depended on who was running it.

That's interesting. I was commenting on the community at the time, and back then, there were no restrictions at all. Also, I was playing in the UK scene, which again must have been very different.

Western Armored Core players have used ban lists for 20+ years, so the idea that "anything goes" as part of our culture is outdated and stuck in the 2002 tournament scene. AA balance is the best for weight/leg classes but the worst for R-hand weapons (NIGHT and HG111 dominating).

なるほど、その点はよく理解できました。 ただ、海外のプレイヤーの場合は少し理由付けが異なり、「ゲーム内に存在するのであれば、使用しても合法かつ公平である」という考え方になります。 こうした考え方はこれまで何度も問題を引き起こしてきましたが、彼らの文化としてそのように運用されているのです。

@The_LCC yes thats very cheap, there would be plenty of ways to make 'smart' things... Idk realeasing each year a unique cover of a song and after 15 years sell it as an album. Clearly 0 effort.

Million Arthur Iori is able to make better use of the linked EB activation to reduce scaling. Needing proper spacing and 5 mana is an issue though. You can still get 8.3k for 2 mana. #アルブラ #MAAB
