This is one of the most painful things anyone could experience in their life time. One of my patients, just pushed out a baby, baby on her chest, we waited 30mins for the placenta to come out, after which Dr had to go in there and manually remove it. She SCREAMED OMG. She kept begging the Dr to stop but we just kept consoling her(it had to come out otherwise she could bleed out). I can still hear her screams. She kept saying “this is worse than child birth” pain meds given prior(she had a natural birth) but she still felt EVERYTHING. It didn’t detach, we ended up in the OR to help control her bleeding. At this point she had lost about 2000ccs of blood. (500cc is the limit for vag deliveries) This thing is excruciating. By the time we got to the OR, more blood loss. They had to put her under general. Blood transfusion began. Placenta out, Bakri, bleeding stopped after they called out an OB emergency to perform a hysterectomy. She almost lost her uterus. Whole time her husband was weeping begging us to not let her die.

@Akinbills I’ve noticed that when a man is single, you almost never see his family members around him, but the moment he gets married, everyone suddenly remembers him. Most couples haven’t actually enjoyed their marriage by themselves, there’s always one relative or friend visiting.

We had this family friend that loved pretty girls. All his exes were gorgeous. My guy in the UK 🇬🇧 is frustrated.
He just gave me a long call now.
His wife gave birth 5 months ago and hasn’t returned to work, saying she’s still healing.
Oya nau, while at home, go for remote jobs to support the family she ignores that option.
Rather she focuses on "content creation" on TikTok that isn’t paying, while he carries all the bills alone, plus a ₦350k monthly allowance for his mother-in-law.
Now this same mother-in-law is threatening him for “pressuring” her daughter to work, while she's still nursing a baby.
She even declines the suggestion of GP appointments to really confirm her health status. Saying she just needs some time.
He's so confused at the moment because he sees other women that gave birth in the same UK, and they resume work after 3-6weeks while arranging a nanny to take over.
All the house bills are currently on him, and his wife isn't making life any easy because he doesn't even know when she tends to get back to normal work.
All she keeps telling him is "give me more time to heal"...

After my wife gave birth, the next day her mother dabbed her stomach with a hot wet towel. You need to see the amount of blood that was pouring out from her VJ during that process.
Because of the pains, my wife refused to do it the next day. And that next day, just few drops of stain was seen.
Now fast forward to the 3rd day, we had to beg her so her mother will dab her again. Now during the dabbing, more blood came out, almost like it was the first time she was dabbed.
So I believe the postpartum massage works.

The Uterus aka womb is a bulky muscular tissue that stretches to accommodate the baby After the delivery, with time. It will involute and go back to its nornal size. No need to hot dab it. You don't have to use hot water because it doesn't do anything By the way, if you knew how many layers of skin and muscle are there before you get to the womb (uterus) , you'd know that, that hot water towel is going no where close to the womb (uterus) and it is only traumatizing the skin and causing unnecessary trauma to the woman See this picture. One of my neighbors who is always bringing different girls to the compound brought a new girl today.
He dropped her off and left immediately.
She changed from her NYSC khaki into his boxers and T.shirt, then went outside the gate, probably to buy something.
I went and stood somewhere waiting for her, when she got close to his door, I shouted “Vera, how far na? You just show you no even check on me” while walking toward her.
She turned and said “sorry?”
Then I said, “Oh, I’m so sorry. I thought you were Vera, his wife. Sorry” and went back to my room.
Few minutes later, the guy came back and I heard them arguing. Then she left.
He came and knocked on my door, asking what I told his woman.
I said “Me ke? Which woman? Told who what? Have you even seen me today?”
He said the girl told him his neighbor said bla bla bla…
And I’m the only neighbor around.
He has been calling me different names since.
But it is not my concign. 🥹
