Kalshi just cleared a major hurdle with approval to offer margin trading. Users, especially hedge funds and institutional players, will be able to take leveraged positions on event outcomes, pushing prediction markets closer to traditional derivatives trading. CEO Tarek Mansour says margin is coming soon.

I wanted to like blaze, but I think the tokenomics are broken. There is a kind of built in inflation in the voting system. Because the spotlight funds are a fixed pie, and people can make more passes, the more passes are made the less voting power they have.
If your community doesn't make enough to keep up then how much you make will go down every epoch. I think most people are below this line, but the people with pre-existing connections are above it.
I'm starting to think everything in crypto is built this way, to reward a select few.

Makes sense now. The crypto aspect of Blaze is so well integrated you barely notice it. We actually have a lot of non crypto native streamers coming and using the platform and they enjoy it a lot. I myself am someone who wants things to just work 😂 and a lot of times crypto native platforms are complicated to use. Blaze is super user friendly.
You should just try it, I strongly recommend it. Join the Discord too ☺️

@LostSnow_Rin @Mrdeano @blaze_stream Yup exactly. It’s more of an throw-in rather than a dedicated platform. Since the chain is no longer in the spotlight it’s basically a ghost town.
Only reason I used it as a comparison is that Blaze is on Avalanche/Blaze chain so wanted a comparison for crypto-based streaming

@Mrdeano @Therec87 @blaze_stream You would have only heard of it if you are into crypto. It’s not mainly a streaming platform, it’s a crypto chain that has a website and you can stream on there if you get accepted… but they don’t have users.

but if youre ripping (and not playing the tcg) youre are consciously or not looking for 'chase cards' and yes those chase cards might be full art or IR / SIR but if they had no monetary value i think the dopamine would be less

@Cryptoguy777 @blaze_stream Will give blaze a shot. Really hoping new companies are able to innovate and pull in audiences. Right now Twitch seems to rely on “we can do what we want bc nobody is leaving regardless” rather than supporting viewers and streamers.
