I’ve had it, I’m done this is one tired and deflated Nut Fairy. After the update on Treacle last night I’ve had so much abuse (messages, comments and emails) about not helping him in fact killing him that I’ve not slept. The truth is he’s a wild animal and I am doing my best but I can’t do anything unless he continues to come back each night. He’s not a pet that I can take to the vets, he’s a wild animal which I treat with respect like I do all the wildlife and intervene and help where I can. My special mix has been out each night with some metacam in it, in the hope that this will help but I’m seriously at my wits end. Seriously do people not know what I do, sometimes I wish they walked a day in my shoes not only worrying about the wildlife but also about Mike whilst struggling with my dodgy swollen leg. I’m sorry I’m taking the day off to sleep! I’ve blocked and deleted most of the trolls but would appreciate if you see any please let me know 😞😡

The writing competition we are doing with Thringstone Primary finishes tomorrow. Looks like we will have a lot of reading to do in order to chose winners.

@cleanupbritain Our little village in Leicestershire collected and removed 106 bags of litter in Jan, over half of which were done this week due to windy conditions and recycling day.

21 black bags of litter picked up by one person in 3 days around our village streets, due entirely to recycling collections being left out when we had 42mph winds and people not wanting to clear up after the wind had dropped.
