@Sassafrass_84 It is so frustrating as I’m working so hard to get my 93 year old father in a nursing home qualified to get Medicaid for his continued health and end of life care. Please help us change this system for this hard working and proud American. 🇺🇸

.@Jim_Banks with the TRUTH! 👏
The One Big Beautiful Bill is protecting Medicaid for those who need it.
If you are able-bodied and don’t have a young child or disabled dependent, you should work.

@mtgreenee Thank you. We’ve been waiting a long time for this medical freedom!
English

I just want to reiterate that I believe in medical freedom for every American to opt out of any and all vaccine mandates.
This includes vaccine requirements for children to attend school, sports, or programs.
Parents should not be scolded and children rejected for refusing vaccines for their children.
I never took any of the COVID vaccines and stood in the gap as one of the few in Congress against mask and vaccine mandates so much so my refusal to wear masks on the House floor led to them Speaker Nancy Pelosi fining me $2,500 every time I stepped in the House floor without a mask.
I was fined every day because I refused to wear a mask.
Going forward it’s the pharmaceutical companies that need to prove safety and effectiveness for their vaccines because they lost our trust after the massive amounts of Covid vaccine side effects and deaths that were IGNORED.
And even then, Americans have the right to say NO without being treated like second class citizens.
Oh and lastly, I think the pharmaceutical companies ads of all kinds of their drugs, with their plethora of awful side effects, should not be the only tv commercials we see.

So, my ER story: I went to the local hospital (which I used to hold in high regard) at 8 AM with a nasty flu bug that I’d been fighting for 4 days. Mostly high fever, extreme nausea, (extreme!), unable to eat or drink anything and hold it down, intense body aches and pain, no sleep, just exhausted. My wife told me it was time to go to the ER.
We arrived at 8 AM and check in was smooth and quick. They did labs, put me on an IV, and sent me back to the waiting room. A few hours later, the ER doc told me they wanted to admit me for observation overnight to pump me with fluids, anti-nausea meds, and painkillers. Sounds prudent, ok. However, there were no empty beds in the hospital, they were slammed.
15 hours later, after much bitching and moaning to the staff, I told the charge nurse that I’d had it and was leaving to go home. 5 minutes later a nurse shows up to take me to a bed. 15 hours of trying to feel better and trying to sleep in what I can only describe as an American Airlines economy middle seat and it took me chewing out severalstaff members during that time and threatening to walk out to get people to do their job.
So, I’m in for the night! Finally! Already feeling much better! Thanks for all of the prayers and best wishes. I should be home tomorrow fit as a fiddle! Love all of you guys!

Who else prefers the taste of cane sugar Coca-Cola from a glass bottle rather than plastic?
The threat of microplastics is all too real!
