@MrJP07 It's a lot of time & thus expense to put the set back in place, do the set dressing & lighting then animate a shot like that. If the shot was utterly needed we would wait until many shots from another episode were required on the same set & do a pickup shot at the same time

@TimAnimation Do you recall anymore being animated to comply with the scripts when the scripts were brought in?

How did no one notice this mistake? Even as a kid I noticed it. Fireman Sam goes to the rescue in Jupiter, but when he arrives he's in Venus

@TimAnimation @MrJP07 You and the team did outstanding work, it really is such a shame the show peaked with series 4 and 5 then abandoned it all for naff CGI. Your work honestly helped raise a generation!

@MrJP07 I didn't animate this part at the mountain rescue center. It may have been a practical issue, that they wasn't physical space for Jupiter & Venus to fit on the set driving in. They are both big & heavy, driving on the far edge of a set originally made for the helicopter

@TimAnimation Strange how they didn't do a new one specifically for the episode, as Sam gets into Jupiter but he arrives in Venus

@MrJP07 @DanielAlsop2 @DomtheHunslet @BBCWalesNews Fireman Sam went to a completely different production company for season 6. There would be some of the same team a Hit Entertainment overseeing it. They may have taken some of the plot ideas over but Siriol had no more involvement with the scripts after that
