If you get a job of #50k monthly after NYSC, take it. Go to the office, do the work and come back home.

Thank God someone has said it. I am a pharmacy student and am really confused on which path to take when I graduate whether it's industry or supply chain or community pharmacy. It's really difficult. I know with time I will figure it out
bigT!@_Latunde

The curse of pharmacists is the fact that you can work in a lot of places. It makes decision making very slow and makes it difficult to stick long enough to one path. Always thinking if there might be something better elsewhere

Why is it very difficult for pharmacist to japa through the practice route?? I mean you will spend more money than the one you spend to get your B.pharm degree? And it is not like the pay is the best after all of it.. why?? Just can’t fathom!!

If you finish your PharmD program, do you prefer to be called a Doctor or a pharmacist? Mine is Pharmacist, This is because of its uniqueness , so that patients or individuals can easily differenciate me from other HCPs.

Did you engage the Dr to find out why he wrote that prescription? You don't have the rights whatsoever to alter a Dr's prescription without first notifying the Dr first. You don't own the patient. The Dr does. Others may overlook this, some will take it up with you professionally
Fosy@GodwinIdu19

I can’t forget the day a medical doctor wrote a prescription for a diabetic patient of 70 year old man. dapaglifloxin 50 o d Metformin/vildagliptin 1000/50 mg b d It was God that saved the man because he met me, pharmacist that queried the prescription and it was corrected.

HMO that we treated a patient as a case of emergency When it was time for them to pay the bills They said they didn't ask us to give those medications so they won't pay for them.

@AkposMalafakumo The hospital needs proper documentation to claim their money back and HMO wants to pay the cheapest amount for treatment, the hospital can’t reject the patient so they have to use the cheaper alternative on the shelf.

Once you go to the hospital and tell them you are under HMO, they start moving differently. They will give you substandard medications. Has anyone experienced this?

Ours is taught by 4-5 lecturers. Exam questions are from all 5. If I skipped one in order to extensively read the other 4 due to time constraint. And read the practical aspect well. And I did well in my tests, and I can pass with an A or B.
OSAIVBIE@madamarese

@TheZenomHayab Pharmacology is taught by like 8–9 lecturers, but exam questions come from just 5. Imagine skipping 3 topics and they show up as theory questions 😂😂 In a course where you need to write a lot to score, that’s basically setting yourself for failure. So Nooooo Bad advice 😂😂😂

If you have a course that has so many topics taught by so many lecturers, I promise you that you must not read every single thing. It's almost impossible to, especially if it's pharmacy Read 4/5 out of 8 topics very well. Then just skim through the other 3. You can still get B/A

@madamarese Even in Pharmacology. It's a skill issue. Practical aspect is very important. If i read 3 out of 4 parts extensively and skim through the last one. Came out with B.
