Trump's craving for grandiosity can only be satisfied on a global basis now where he wants to be seen as if he's omnipotent over the world order. He can't sell it like he used to, so he puts forth a narrative as if every listener is an imbecile. He is unable to resist peddling malice against his predecessors, rivals, and perceived enemies every chance he gets, no matter how petty or irrelevant, because he's pure impulse, he's got nothing else, he's owned by his disorders, and again - the listeners, in his mind, are imbeciles. This craving for grandiosity is only matched by his fear of humiliation - in fact, these have become the two sole underlying reasons for everything he does. He's a blathering fool but he is fully capable of morphing into Nero with a fiddle. He's a traitor to his country, his allies, and his supporters; some of them just can't yet process the betrayal or the falsity of their world view - they're too addicted to it and/or dependent upon it. He's a wannabe world Emperor. And he's standing there, for all of us to see - diminished, deranged, delusional and destructive. And butt naked.
