Over the last 10 years he’s spoken to me as a Tory leadership contender, Covid canary in the coal mine, independent London mayoral candidate, or, as in this instance, a podcaster and author. His brand of conscientious conservatism beguiles the significant part of our country that is relatively normal and looked on in horror/confusion as the right wing actively attacked Britain and/or descended into explicit bigotry, parochialism, and conspiracy. @OliDugmore Same guy who voted through every malicious, careless piece of Tory legislation, killing 300,000 people through austerity, but he only *does* evil things, he doesn't *say* them so he gets this kind of fawning coverage wherever he goes.

@JMcMurdockMP James McMurdock, received a custodial sentence for kicking his ex girlfriend "around four times". He did not reveal this conviction before being elected as an MP. Once it became public he falsely claimed he "pushed" her, court records show he kicked her repeatedly.

The Crime and Policing Bill will create new police powers to restrict protest methods used by the suffragettes and anti-apartheid movement. If the govt will not withdraw this clause, there should be full debate and a vote on this proposal, for Members of the Commons.
