@realDwalt @ClayTravis Probably allows the flames to simmer and go away. I saw a couple more kill shots were coming out in next 24 hours.

@ClayTravis So false allegations but I did make mistakes, resigning so quickly after attacking others for years is just crazy.

@thefirstmr1492 @_NoahHiles $12m - they are not cutting him loose! No way! If anything - struggles continue and a phantom injury comes up so he can rehab in minors and try to find his stroke

@_NoahHiles This needs to end quickly. He’s costing them runs and wins. I’m sure he’s a great guy and teammate but he is only being paid to hit. If he doesn’t, cut him loose.

Marcell Ozuna’s struggles are hurting the Pirates in multiple ways. It’s still early in the season, but how much runway should they give him to turn things around? I discuss that and more in today’s column: post-gazette.com/sports/columns…

@AustinRBechtold @gbrowniepoints I want success for Ozuna as much as anyone - he looks fat and slow! I had no idea he was 34. Unfortunately at $12m they will continue to ride him

Interesting note from @gbrowniepoints on the broadcast: Marcell Ozuna said was 5-59 at the start of 2024 when he hit 40 homers with the Braves.

Spent some time today looking at player ranks and spending projections and I think Pitt mostly did the right thing letting guys walk. Roman was a big loss and it's hard to quantify Felisi, but the analytical exercise removed emotion🤷🏽‍♂️

@DomDiTommaso I am 51. I was a knucklehead and it took me 7.5 years to finish college (not a Dr). Everyone thought I wouldn’t finish (paid my own way). When I did my mom and Fiancee had a HUGE party for me! 2 or 3 kegs! Anyone could come! Was awesome!

My dad died last week, and I never want him to be forgotten, so humor me while I tell you about him. - He had three sisters and three daughters. Born to be a girl dad. The best dad in the world, even to his dog Max. - He loved live music. - He loved Golden Knights hockey. He lived down the street from the arena for years and could hear the horn before they'd score on TV, so he'd always know before me lol. - He had a better singing voice than he'd like to admit. - He watched my clients like they were his own kids. Every time anyone caught a ball, he saw. He texted me every single time. - He was a truck driver to start his career, and he loved the road. He lived in his RV for a few of his last years on earth. - He loved his granddaughters. His last words were "love you baby" to my 2-year-old niece. - He loved boats. We owned wave runners for a few years and we had so much fun. - He loved treating people. He was so kind and generous. His success was only fun if he could share it with others. - He bought every daughter a house at some point as an investment for himself and for us. - He wanted more time. He loved life. For my dad today, please call someone you love. Do something fun this weekend. Buy the concert tickets, go eat a big fancy meal. Buy someone a random gift for no reason. I'll spend the rest of my life telling people about him.

@MurrayHillGuy1 It is ENTIRELY genetics. I put massive amounts of substances into my body, and I had no issues until I turned 38. I started drinking again, and have high blood pressure, but I still work out every single day.

I have a friend who’s never been hungover in his life but drinks like a 22-year-old on spring break basically every weekend. He Ran the United Half after 14 drinks the night before 8:30 mile pace so he’s not a fat piece of shit Has put up 20+ drinks in a night and wakes up like nothing happened. He’s been like this since college. Is this elite genetics or is his body just saving up one catastrophic hangover when he’s like 40? (He’s 29 right now) SOS anyone seen this before?

I’ve tested mine. I can drink a LOT but I don’t always. Anyways one night we had 3 of us go drink per drink. Exact the same and used a breathalyzer that was calibrated to check. At end of night I was .12, the other two guys were .26 range. I’ve never been drunk or hungover and I’m 47. I have red hair and Irish and I think the same gene that keeps anesthesia from working on us also applies to alcohol somehow.

@RockFeedNet That "theme park" was Epcot in Disneyworld. I saw Herman's Hermits play there live. I think Hall without Oates was playing the next week when I was there. As a musician and producer, it's not a bad venue.

After a social media post mocked Sugar Ray for performing at a theme park pavilion, frontman Mark McGrath delivered a powerful response. “To be honest Vince, I’m grateful for every gig we get, and to everyone who shows up after all of these years!” McGrath wrote. Sugar Ray rose to fame in the late ’90s with hits like “Fly” and “Every Morning,” and McGrath’s words highlight the band’s gratitude for still connecting with audiences decades later. 📸 - tys_random_days / TikTok

Richard Wershe Jr. was apprehended at his residence in 1988 with 17 pounds of cocaine at the age of 17. The media and law enforcement prominently featured the young man, labeling him as the head of a cartel. Authorities described Wershe as a towering figure in the drug trade, known to his associates as "White Boy Rick." While Wershe served time for drug possession, individuals convicted of murder were released. "I snitched on the wrong people," Wershe admitted. Wershe was not a drug kingpin but an informant for the FBI. Starting at 14, the FBI instructed him in narcotics trafficking and inserted him into one of the city’s most perilous gangs. Wershe's situation took a dire turn when he exposed corruption within the police force that extended to Detroit's mayor. The men who trained him cut him loose. Then they had him thrown in prison for life. The full story: historydefined.net/white-boy-rick/

The DIRECT and dramatic correlation between the money in professional golf growing exponentially, and the number of hot blonde females caddying at the Masters Par 3 contest, is a significantly understudied sociological/biological phenomenon. A mystery that may never be solved!🤔

@NotRolandofGil @Cam_Jourdan @golfweek His surgery in part was done to address an anxiety situation from what I understand. While it improved the condition he still has some ongoing issues.

@Cam_Jourdan @golfweek Can someone more familiar with the situation explain how brain surgery > him thinking fans were there to kill him? Not saying in the slightest I doubt Gary or how he’s feeling, just trying to understand how that happens with PTSD

Gary Woodland speaks on how he's feeling back at Augusta National this week. "It's a big week for me this week. The fans are very close on the tee boxes. There's a lot going on. There's probably not a safer golf tournament in the world, so I'm happy for that, but it's still a battle in my head if I'm safe or not. That's a tough pill to swallow. "I'm emotional from the standpoint I know how close I probably was to never being back here, and I'm very proud of myself for earning my way back."
