Good news today on World Cancer Day, a national cancer care plan for children. Although the travel fund will come next year our drivers @transportfsc are always there to support families in Greater Manchester. @MFT_Charity @ChildhoodCancer @WorldCancerDay

We support a lot of families in Bolton, Bury, Rochdale, Oldham and North Manchester so we're looking for new drivers in these areas. The role is flexible, if you have your own vehicle, some spare time and enjoy helping others please get in touch or share! @ActionTogether2

Merry Christmas from all the team at Transport for Sick Children. We hope you have a lovely festive season. The office will be closed from lunch time on Wednesday 24th December and will be open reduced hours from then until Friday 2nd January.

It was lovely to see so many of our drivers at our annual Christmas lunch at Houldsworth golf club last week. Thanks again to them all for their amazing commitment to the charity over the past year.

Thanks to everyone who came to our AGM earlier this month. It was great to see some of our newer drivers and officially welcome Angela Chan as our Treasurer and Alice Carroll, daughter of charity founder Sally Carroll as a Trustee😀

Our longest serving driver Bill Mitchell has left the charity after an amazing 28 years driving for us! He has helped hundreds of families and we can never thank him enough for everything he has done. We hope he enjoys his second retirement!😀

Fundraiser by Alice Carroll : Fundraising 5&10K runs for Transport For Sick Children

We all managed to run the 10k despite Storm Amy last Saturday! Thanks to everyone who has sponsored us, we're thrilled to have raised £2,435 so far. It would be great to reach over £2,500, there's still time to donate!

Child poverty rates in Oldham are the highest in Greater Manchester so we're always looking for more volunteer drivers to support families in the area. We'll be at Oldham library tomorrow from 10-2 for the @ActionTogether2 volunteer fair pop and see us😀

What a busy week! Manchester Volunteer Fair, chatting about the charity with Geoff at @RochValleyRadio and our second Macmillan Cancer Support coffee morning where we raised £209.04! This will be split equally between Transport For Sick Children and Macmillan☺️@innovate_stock

It's a busy week of volunteer fairs! Thanks to @Sector3SK for a great fair in Stockport on Wednesday and we'll be in St Ann's square in Manchester tomorrow from 10am, pop down and see us!😃
