@TrueErudition @jariloseele Pancakes are, well, made in a pan on the stove. Cookies are not. Cookies also typically call for browning the butter and storing in a refrigerator overnight before baking. Pancakes do not.

I had a revelation earlier about baking. All baking is just the same thing. Dough but you make it different shapes. Cookie = flat crunchy pancake, pancake = fluffy cookie, cake = tall pancake. Brownie is just short chocolate cake.
