Hey Sridhar, I am building @TuluBuildFund where we are building a VC/Accelerator for builders and hackers in Tulunadu and we be backing moonshot ideas. Running our first sprint and accelerator in May/June. If it goes good, I plan to do something on a national scale. I was inspired by your tweets. I do believe we need ecosystem where we enable people in India to build whatever crazy idea they want and also allow people to solve important problems in the country.

ACCELERATE TULUNADU

Big news. For the next 3 months, My team and I are in Gurgaon working with @MastersUnion on something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time. We’re building real-world applications on the Unitree G1 Humanoid Robot. Not demos. Actual working prototypes. Stay tuned. 👀

My mission with @TuluBuildFund is to enable a culture in Tulunadu where anyone can build whatever they want and have access to capital, tools and every resource needed to bring their idea to life. It can be a normal app to a crazy moonshot. Being crazy will be normalized. TBF is just a community for now however it is the beginning of a long term plan that I have. The accelerator that we will be running next month is an experiment where we want more folks from Tulunadu betting on themselves and building a v1 of their idea. Tulunadu is known for its culture, hospitals, ice creams, seafood and even universities. We want to make Tulunadu a innovation hub.

Just wrapped up an incredible showcase of our modular EV platform at Coastal Startup Fest 2026 by @AicNitte at Fiza byNexus Mall, Mangalore. What surprised us most , people didn’t just look, they started asking where the showroom is, pricing, and when they can book. We had to remind them it’s still a prototype XD Also saw strong interest from off-road enthusiasts wanting to use the electric pickup for trails, and some were even interested in the platform itself. That validated our platform-first approach. Best moment was telling people this was built in Mangalore The reactions made all the late nights worth it. Big thanks to our team @aggukarkera. Normalize building crazy moonshot ideas here in Tulunadu. Experiment worh ideas and be okay with failing. The only way we move forward is when we focus on progress instead of perfection. And instead of doing it for status, we do it for the value it creates.

This weeks update, just finished with the bonnet and front quarter panel molds along with the bed and rear quarter panels. Was a bit faster progress this time as the last couple of molds we built helped us streamline the process. Will be doing a test fit of all the molds this week and start with refining it to match our vehicle dimensions. @aggukarkera @itssiliconbeach @TiEMangaluru @fdotinc

Weekly update on our electric pickup truck build. Just finished the truckbed fender molds. Had to place it vertically as it made it easier to build volume but it was a bit scary as well, as my buddy @aggukarkera had to use a ladder in order to make sure we had even spread, The buck was a bit flimsy as well and was literally hanging from the ceiling using some threads we had lying around ( like literal strings of fate from the ceiling 🤣). Which is the most innovative university in Tulunadu? We are making a list of the best universities in Mangalore and Udupi based on the number research papers being published, startups being started and wins at hackathons.

@NischalShetty02 We are more interested in actual research papers being published. The ones being accepted at notable conferences. Research papers published because students were forced by professors are not even actual research papers. That is a homework.

@TuluBuildFund I don't think the number of papers should be a metric, because most professors force everyone to publish a paper, no matter its quality.

The greatest and biggest companies that will change the world in the coming decades will be coming out of Tulunadu. Mark my words, Tuluvas are going to change the world and I am going back them over at @TuluBuildFund.
