Seeing great results this year with Anuew EZ for Poa control in overseeded ryegrass. Apps every three weeks completely eliminates seedheads and Poa is blending into the ryegrass.

@TurfSpartanLord @TurfgrassZealot The Flint study was really cool showing how one entity taking the initiative to take care of and pride in surroundings, turf in parks and lawns and blvds in this case, causes others to begin to do the same. And, from that, they felt safer and actually got to know their neighbors.

@TurfgrassZealot Ask @Turficidal He has great info regarding this psychology from Flint, MI several years back. Pretty amazing how something as simple as mowing can change a neighborhood - adds onus to the community and evokes pride in Property Ownership.

@ArkansasTurf We have “luxury” in all walks of life: houses, cars, vacations… This course is receiving many inputs for this event. Many “luxury” items and events require many inputs. Everyone loves their “luxury” something. Try to have some perspective and get over it.

Lots of negative comments about this video, which is fair…just remember, professional golf events all get over-the-top management to prepare the surface for professional players - just like the Super Bowl does compared to a local high school football game or an Acadamy award winner’s makeup compared to a local stage actor. This in no way reflects how golf courses are managed every day…

@UNLturf Had to excavate some soil once when a decimal point error was made with a long residual PRE/POST. Builds character.

Well that's embarrassing. I was shocked with the amount of growth from the +GA treatment. At first it looked as expected, but became obvious something was wrong. Yep, I typed the decimal point in the wrong spot. That makes for a very high app rate. Restarted the experiment today.

@UNLturf @JamesHempfling If BRD is collected so quickly after mowing, would differences from N and/or PGR be expected. Wouldn’t you need some time for growth differences to develop and be realized?

@JamesHempfling Collected clippings when the dew was off at 9 and ball roll distance right after at 10am. Done by 11. First year and early on.

An update on the NxPGR study at either 0.080" or 0.120." No difference in green speed between HOC, PGR, and N rate. Many more clippings from the turf at 0.080" again today. Still a lot of summer and stimp meter rolls to go this summer. pic.twitter.com/7ZrpIV0Bj1
