If F1 drivers saw how some of their “fans” talk about other drivers - in F1 or any category - I’m pretty sure they’d feel more embarrassed than proud to be associated with that kind of support. How can you call yourself a fan? You can back your favorite without tearing someone else down. That’s what real fans do. At some point, it stops being passion and starts looking like rage baiting or just blind dislike. Criticism is part of sport, sure, but there’s a difference between having an opinion and constantly trying to provoke, insult, or tear people down for attention. If your support depends on hating someone else, maybe it’s worth asking what kind of fan you really want to be.

@F1WDC2021 That shows your lack of understanding the NLS regulations. There is no limit of tyre usage over a single (in this case qualifying) session. The total usage over the whole event is limited. So your scenario is just dumb.

@AlexBrundle It’s always not good to see a car getting disqualified. However, one full set of tires in a 4 hour race is a huge advantage, wondering what position they would have ended with 6-sets.

Team say Verstappen tyre error was made in routine driver and tyre changes during qualifying. Teams rotate tyres and drivers simply to practice changing them all at once. Somewhere in there an extra set has been introduced. Shame after a great performance from all involved. Tyre limit in NLS is a full event limit across race and qualifying.
