@Jamwanda2 in 2025 Petrol FOB price was US0.89 & now increased to US1,09, a rise of 20cents. Petrol taxes were US0.53 but have increased to US0.85 meaning taxes have risen by a greater margin that the actual product price. Gvt for now should maintain taxes at US0.54

I have been engaging intently and am ready for some simple, actionable summation: YOU REQUEST THAT YOUR GOVERNMENT LOOKS AT REDUCING THE FUEL-BASED TAX TO BRING IMMEDIATE RELIEF TO THE HARD-PRESSED CITIZENRY. I hear you loud and clear and will faithfully transmit!!!!👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿

Zim should align fuel prices with regional peers ⁦@ZimTreasury⁩ should knock off some the tax heads & levies and align the country’s fuel prices with its regional peers - we need to cushion the economy & guarantee national competitiveness.

He has been preaching the investment gospel on ZSE for a long time. I think akaroora nemari yemashares 😁. On a serious note, a brother worth following for investment advice. He speaks in plain language

This is a new documentary film about how some evil Zimbabweans scammed their compatriots out of millions of dollars by selling fake passages to work in the United Kingdom. It is a reflection of how some Zimbabweans have lost their sense of shame. youtu.be/NaYwSHPk1n0

Zimbabwe in record breaking forex earnings in 2024 The country received a record breaking foreign currency receipts topping US$13.3 billion - largely driven by exports (US$7.9 billion), diaspora remittances (US$2.2 billion), loans (US$1.6 billion) and NGOs (US$1.2 billion) Well done Zimbabwe 👏👏👏👏👏. It is evident that if we improve on accountability and efficient use of our forex (by stopping command exchange rate), we can easily build sufficient reserves (i.e., US$4.5 billion) required to introduce our local currency and run it sustainably.

Yesterday, I went to get a haircut from my usual barber, a man I respect greatly because of his work ethic and the way he always looks out for me. While I was there, I shared with him some challenges we’re facing with court battles involving debtors. He gave me an analogy that I wish I had known sooner. He said, ‘TD, the first time you came here, you told me the type of haircut you wanted, and I’m sure you had some doubts until I delivered exactly what you asked for—maybe even better. Now, you sit down confidently because you trust me, and you don’t even check the mirror when I’m done, because you know I’ll get it right. Why is it, then, so hard for you to trust God during your waiting period? He has delivered you from situations you never thought you’d survive, so you already have a history with Him. Why is it so difficult to trust Him and stop worrying or being anxious?’ This made me think, and maybe someone else needs to hear this too: We start our cars and drive to work everyday without double-checking everything because we trust the mechanic who just serviced it. When we get home, we sit on the same couch without checking if it can hold us, because we trust it after using it daily. So why is it so hard to trust the One who gave us life today, even without us asking for it?

You don’t control anything in this world, outside of how you react to it. YOU DECIDE how you view the world, And that decision makes all the difference in where you end up. For example - I GET to go to work. As opposed to I HAVE to go to work. At least you have a job. You GET to have a busy day and feeling productive is beautiful. I could have viewed myself living in a council estate as destined to fail. Instead, I viewed it as a blessing, I was GRATEFUL for being able to see the very bottom of society. GRATEFUL for the experiences and the motivation it gave me to climb out. Some men are drug addicts because their father was a drug addict. Some men never touched drugs because their father was a drug addict. Reality isn’t your problem. How you view it is.
