Prof Elmi Muller was honoured with an NRF A-rating at the recent #NRFawards2021: bit.ly/2YXhoxS. The “HIV Positive to Positive” transplant programme she started at Groote Schuur Hospital in 2008 changed the lives of many people in South Africa and had a worldwide impact.

@TheOrganOgress #ESOTchat I think of this in two ways: patients and professionals. We need gender equality and attention to improved outcomes related to genetic risk factors for patients. For professionals, we need equal opportunities for younger people, females, and from all geographic areas.
